How is your city’s smart city journey going?

In 2005, former US president Bill Clinton challenged a tech company to make cities more sustainable, kick-starting the business of smart city technologies. 13 years on, almost every city in the world has embarked on its own smart city journey and each one is different. To get a sense of how they are doing, we spoke to more than 150 city leaders in 12 countries, including China, India, and Singapore.
Some things we learnt – data analytics and machine learning are the top technologies cities expect to adopt over the next five years. The most popular solutions already implemented include LED street lighting and city data platforms. For further insights, download the full report here.
